Race report
8he first ever THORL championship round was held at Pinewood Raceway, Wokingham, UK on the 13th September 2015.
25 racers of all ages were in attendance, many from established HO clubs across the UK.
It was also the first time that many had the chance to race the newest AFX release, the Mega G+.
Notable attendees were Tony Baldock and John Ovens who have a great history in many forms of slot racing.
Graham Whitby from Pinewood was quick to pick up the HO style of racing and was racing with the big guns in no time.
The first THORL winner was Mike Dadson in the Open Wheel Class. Continuing his winning form, from the WHO and EAHORC championships.
The Afternoon classes, Le Mans and Grand Touring shortly followed.
Le Mans class was won by Al Wood.
Grand Touring was won by Callum Norris who, always quick, managed to get it together for an impressive first National win.
Andy and Marc wish to thank everyone for their help and support, not just on the day, but during the whole start of The HO Racing League.
Many thanks also go to Pinewood Raceway on letting use their fantastic facilities.
Hope to see you at the next race - October 18th 2015 - Larkfield, Kent.
